The elements of NA are being introduced in the system of school education. According to H.Newman, the theorist of NA Alice Bailey, who blamed traditional family unit in "separateness, selfishness and individual, isolated exclusiveness" (Education IV, p.130), was indirectly awarded the UNESCO Peace Education Prize in 1989, and her teachings are already incorporated in schools around the world (via the "Project Global 2000" program). 

In modern school much attention is now given to «expanding and transforming of personal consciousness». Since junior classes instead of learning ready-made answers pupils are encouraged to find answers in themselves, instead of practicing the basic academic skills try to perceive the "higher realities", to recognize "the higher mind". They are taught that a man is a part of the universe, as well as crow, hare or ant (from the author – and alien), and for the best of our total planetary home (in the times of Hitler it was Germany) everybody should think at first of the others and only then of yourself. 

New subjects are being introduced such as “Science of Right Relations”, which teaches how wrong to resist the majority, how dangerous any conflicts are and how to avoid them. And such subjects as «the Science of Meditation» and «the science of visualization» are the first steps towards the spiritual contact of children with the world of spirits.
