| P159 Another World Are there any mentions of the existence of the another world in the Bible? Decide for yourself: «When
I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the
people of old time, and shall set thee in the
low parts of the earth, in
places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not
inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living »
( Ez.26:20); «Praise the LORD from the earth, ye
dragons, and all deeps»
(Ps.148:7); «Though
they dig into hell,
thence shall mine hand take them»
(Amos 9:2); «That
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in
earth, and things under the earth»
(Phil.2:9-11). When Jesus resurrected “ he went
and preached unto the spirits in prison…which
sometime were disobedient… in the days of Noah”
(1Pet.3:18-20). “ The
enemy... has made me dwell
in
darkness, like those who have
long been dead ”
(Ps. 143:3). Folklore
traditions of the world assert that there are other worlds, often multileveled,
deep under the crust of our planet.
In Tibet, Nepal and India these worlds are known as separate empires, or
underground kingdoms: Agharta, Shamballa, Patala, Rasatala and others, which are
populated with various humanoids, gods, demons and reptile like beings. The
hairy Yeti, as the Himalayas believe, live in mountains and scaly Nagas live
under ground. Myths describe
underground world full of perfect things decorated with jewels, with perfect
buildings, gardens and places for pleasure. The whole underground planetary
system is lit up with light outgoing from huge crystals. Indian
Bhagavata Purana (5:24) tells us about the constant conflicts
between those who occupy underground levels (Naga, Danava and Daytia) and
inhabitants of Rasatala, one of the lowest planetary systems who are extremely
powerful, severe, proud from birth and live in holes like snakes. Many
Tibetan Buddhists still believe in existence of the city of Shambala and the
kingdom of Agharta, in which the city is located. In the book "Shambala",
telling about his travel in Tibet, N. Rerich recollects, that when their caravan
was passing a set of caves, local people accompanying them said that people had
been living there long time ago. They had found a pass to the underground
kingdom and that is why had gone inside. In 1928 Rerich had a conversation with a Tibetan lama. To his question, where Shambala is located, the lama answered: «Great Shambala is far behind the ocean.... Only in some places, in the far North, you can distinguish magnificent beams of Shambala.... The secrets of Shambala are well protected... You heard about poisonous flows, which surround the Plato. Probably you even saw people dying from these gases, when they approach to them.... Many people try to reach Shambala without being invited. Some of them disappear for ever. Only the ones reach the sacred place and only if their karma is ready ». |
