This is a 17th century fresco which is located in the Svetitshoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, Georgia. You can see two objects on both the sides from Christ. In the two blow ups you can notice that they contain faces.
figures (below) are from the manuscript of the 12th century
“Annales Laurissenses” and they illustrate the event which took place in 776AD
during the Saxon siege of the Sigiburg castle, France, when the group of flaring
disks ("boards") appeared in the sky. Saxons thought that the French
are protected by these objects, they stopped the battle and went away.
