| P217 The Bible tells to us that in the 19th year of the government of Nebuchadnezzar (586 BC) Jerusalem was destroyed, the temple burnt and the Jews moved from the land. It was told to the last king Judah: «Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high. I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him» (Ezek.21:25-27). I.e. the Israeli empire "was cut down", people like the leaves scattered in different countries, and the rest – the root, was in the submission of Greece (in copper ties - copper: the copper belly of the image) and Rome (iron ties - iron: iron legs of the image), and instead of human heart he was given animal, because they stepped further away from God and forgot His laws. 7

were determined
before the restoration of the empire of Israel
– the empire without a king. Jesus himself will become the king in His second
coming and nobody before him. The
last king of Judah - Jehoiachin, was caught a slave by
the Babylonian king (4King.25:27). All Jewish people were in persecutions, and
the king of Jews was not reelected. Only with the accession of the throne by the
king Cyrus, in the very first year of his government: in 537 BC, many Jews
returned to Jerusalem. Jehoiachin, freed from the ties 13 years ago and having
become on familiar terms with the new king, remained at the Babylonian Palace.
Thus, Jehoiachin lost his king right on the empire in 537 BC. The Jews never
elected kings after that. 7
times = 7×1 time, or 360 days / years = 2520
years. Let's transform it to the standard
solar calendar: 2520×360: 365 = 2485
on the Gregorian calculation. 537 BC +2485 = 1948 – the year of formation of the state Israel. One prophecy more is very close to the given one: also about the restoration of Israel. The prophet Ezekiel (chapter 4) was told that Israel is determined the punishment for its sins: «For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year» (4:5,6). 390 + 40 = 430 years were determined for the punishment of Israel («Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them» 4:13). However, as we see from the Bible the Jewish people continued to sin, and consequently God increased the punishment for 7 times (Look Lev.26:18,21,24,28 «And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins… And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins… Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins… Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins»). So, the punishment was determined for disobedient people: 430 years; from them we'll subtract the years under the burden of the Babylon king: 70 years («...Until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept Sabbath, to fulfill threescore and ten (70)years» 2 Chron.36:21, Jer.25:11) – it is the first precautionary punishment (Babylon took over Jerusalem at 607BC - 70 years of the punishment = 537 BC - the new capture by Medo-Persians ). 430
–70 = 360 years×7 times = 2520
years (or 2485).
Cyrus issued a decree about the submission of Israel to Median king in
537 BC, and though Medo-Persians had won Israel in 539 BC, he started his
official government since 537 BC. 537 BC + 2485 = 1948 - the independent state of Israel was formed. Despite of God's constant help to Jews, "they mingled with Gentiles and learn their works; they served their idols...they even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, and shed innocent blood...and the land was polluted with blood...Therefore the wrath of the Lord was kindled against His people...and those who hated them ruled over them" Ps 106:35-41. God spread Jews all over the world. But through the prophets He promised: "I will gather you from the peoples, assemble you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel"(Ezek.11:17).
«Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children? » (Isa. 66:8). This prophecy was given to Isaiah about 732 BC. Who else could give such improbable prophecies for 2700 years with such improbable accuracy? Only Him – the Almighty. The reconstruction of Israel is one of the proof that the end of the world is close. The reconstruction itself is a miracle. People which have come from different countries, having different languages, different culture, not only restored the almost forgotten ancient language - Hebrew, but also made it the state and colloquial language.
