(sun god) were worshipped.
In India (till now) - Isi
and Iswara;
in Asia - goddess - mother Cybele
(or Kore),
in Greece - Ceres,
the Great Mother, with the baby at her breast, or
Irene, the goddess of Peace,
with the boy Plutus
in her arms;
Shing Moo, the Holy Mother in China, is
represented with a child in her arms, and in the beams of glory
around her; and " Even in Tibet, China, and Japan, the Jesuit missionaries
were astonished to find the counterpart of Madonna and her child as devoutly
worshipped as in papal Rome itself." – wrote Aleksander Hislop in his
famous book “The Two Babylons” (p.20).

The Catholics represent frequently Mary in beams, with 12 stars around and half moon under feet*.
And
now look at the text of a pray to Isis, placed on website of Satanic mason

- “I beheld a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the Sun,
with the Moon at her feet. And on her head was a diadem of the twelve
stars. Hear me, O Lady Isis, hear and save. O thou queen of love and
mercy…., thou whose countenance is mild and glowing”.
It is difficult to say, because there is no distinction. Mary -the same Isis, but with a Christian name.
Mary -the goddess of Catholic Church. And the worship of the goddess has nothing to do with Christian faith. Pagan Satanic religions recognize female and male beginnings. The True Christianity is the faith in one God.
“Thou
shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve..”
(Luke. 4:8)
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” (Eх. 20:3-5).
